On comparing together these three papers viz. Nos 77, 78
79, comprehending as all together the three kingdoms, it
seems as if those articles of intimations given of offices
in expectancy were gleaned from documents by the Committee itself, and drawn up under the orders or oral
evidence collected from sources that have not been indicated.

Be this as it may, here in it might naturally
have been supposed, would have ended the communications made or the subject of expectancies of
either description having their source in Ireland. The
case however is very different.

In pages 291, 292, 293 and 294 follow three papers
each marked respectively Ireland No 1, Ireland No 2
and Ireland No 2, each of them bearing a signature,
and that the same signature viz. James Trail:
and each of them bearing date at the same place, viz.
Chief Secretary's office, Dublin Castle; and on the same
day, viz. 23d April 1808. In each of these three papers over the same stated by way of title, not as above
the words Of the paper marked No 1, the title is An Total Amount of Salaries and Fees, but the
words "Annual Value".

Of the Paper marked No 1 the title is An Account
of all Offices which have been granted to two or more
persons for their concurrent lives, with benefit of Survivorship.
The number of articles in it is 8.

Purporting Professing as it does to contain all the offices so
granted i.e. all that all which ever have
which have been, i.e. which at that time ever had been granted
as above, what one should naturally have expected is
among those 8 offices to have found all those which in the unsigned
statement abovementioned are stand designated by the description
of "Offices held for joint
lives in Ireland".
No: not one of them.
