Sinecures

Of these five papers the first marked No 72 has for its a
general title the words "Offices executed by Deputy" but
without saying where. On examination, the place where
is found proves to be turns out to be England and England only.

Immediately Under this title is an intimation indicative of the
source from whence the materials in question were derived.
"Extracted" (it is said) from the Returns sent in to the Committee.

Three is the number of the columns, under in which the
matter information contained in this paper is distributed. Title of The first
Column has for its title No endorsed on each paper, as returned
to the Committee: title of Column 2 The second Column "Name of
"Establishment", &c. Title of the third Column Column 3 – Total
annual gross amount of Salaries and Fees.
Of the information contained in exhibited by Column 1 little will here
be said. The use of it is confined to Members of that House
viz. to such of them as to whom it may happen
to be desirous of casting an eye taking a view of the information in
the state in which it issued from its respective sources.

Of By the title prefixed to the matter contained in Column
II the indication afforded seems not altogether so instructive
either as it might have been, or as it might be wished.
On examination the matter appears throughout to be designative indicative
throughout of the Official title of each Office, and of
the name of its possessor: to which in the instance
of a few some of the articles are added here and there some miscellaneous
elucidations annotations.
