1 March 1810
Sinecures

In the instance of two other of the capital prizes in the
Sinecure Lottery, viz. the unreduced Tellerships, the Marquis
of Buckingham's Tellership of £23,000 odd £23,093 and the the Pratt Earl Camden's
Tellership also of £23.000 odd of Honorable Gentlemen in respect the innocence of any
such charge imputation as that of impertinence presents itself in still
clearer colours. "Deputy and Clerks paid out of it, constitutes
as hath been seen, in each one of those the whole of the information
given on the subject of deductions: of deductions the
existence stated: but of in relation to the quantum amount not any
so much as the loosest intimation given.

Not to speak of us the people, out of whose pockets
all this comes – and whose satisfaction with all this and
with anything of the kind is at ever so immaterial,
so constant and so sure, such is the information with
which Honorable Gentlemen expected to find their principals Gentlemen the House of Commons
those who are without being delegates find the means to be
representatives of the people satisfied: and in this expectation
as far as yet appears, they have not been disappointed.
