If such be Such being the obscurity in which the contents of those
two Nos are involved masses of information are mutually involved by their very titles, much
light will not be easily extracted out of it by any an examination
into the contents component articles of the several articles of which they are respectively
composed.
Though the direction afforded given by their respective titles
for the separation of the two masses, i.e. of their respective
contents from each other failed in the particulars that as have
just been pointed out, of being a very instructive one affording any very correct or compleat instruction,
yet without any direction, and notwithstanding the above
or any still more perplexing direction, if any such were
anywhere to be seen exemplified, means we should have
thought might have been found for keeping the two
masses separate, viz. in such sort that in neither list no article in
either list should be found should any individual article be found that were also to be found
in the other: and that at any rate should any such
repetition double by any mishap be to be found, it would not
be found in any other shape than that of a simple repetition,
the information given in each place being most naturally in words
at any rate in substance, and no such flat repugnancy between
the two, in that supposing the information given in
one of the places is correct as far as it went, that given in the other place could
not possibly be other than incorrect escape being the charge of incorrectness.
