Sinecures
The quarter in which the mis-statement error has found its
place being known, certain other points are thence and
thereby pretty well determined, such are to whose prejuv
also the sort of persons are to whose prejudice the error
does not, and who they are to whose prejudice it does
not operate.
Where uncertainty should occupies the station place in the character of a
cause, nullity is the effect which the gentlemen of the
long robe in the practice of their art, are in use to draw
from it. In the case in question were any such consequence effect
to ensue, it would be a serious one indeed, and so
serious that they can on any occasion like the present
Honorable Gentlemen may be trusted to for not what art and degree
serves of care may be necessary and sufficient for
great characters from a catastrophe any accident so calamitous
as that which would have the effect of precipitating
them from such their high situations?
