Commissioners to be ipso facto Justices of the peace all over England within the district
And be it further enacted, that the said Commissioners, and
each of them respectively shall from and after his nomination and
appointment as aforesaid be adjudged, deemed, and taken to be
ipso facto a Justice of the peace, with all power, and authority
to the Office of a Justice of peace, now by law belonging, or
given by this Act or which shall be given by any future Act
And such Commissioner or Commissioners and each of them shall,
within the said district every County, City, Riding, Division, Parish, Liberty, Precinct
or Place within the Kingdom of England, dominion of Wales,
and Town of Berwick upon Tweed, immediately have, and
enjoy all such power and authority, in like manner as if he,
or they had been named in the commission of the peace for
each of the said Counties, Cities Ridings, Divisions, Parishes,
Liberties, Precincts, and Places Lying within the same, any law, usage, franchise,
charter, custom, or statute, to the Contrary notwithstanding.
This will never be borne in the City of London and standing as a general provision its effects would would greatly derange if not wholly subvert the constitution of the City
And the said Commissioners and each of them shall immediately
have and enjoy all such benefit privilege, and advantage
in any suit action, informations or other proceedings in due
course of law, which any Justice of the peace shall or,
may be intitled to by any act or acts of Parliament,
heretofore made, or hereafter to be made, or by virtue
of this present Act
