High Constables and Marshals of the City to send Lists of Constables to Commissioners under penalty of ten pounds
And be it enacted by the Authority aforesaid that the
Marshals for the City of London, the High Constable for the
City and Liberty of Westminster, the High Constable for
the Holborn Division, the High Constable Finsbury Division,
the High Constable for the Tower Division, the High Constable
for the Kensington Division in the County of Middlesex
and the High Constable for the hundred of Brixton in
the County of Surrey, shall and they are hereby required
within ten days after the appointment of the said
Commissioners shall be made and notified in the London
Gazette (which the said Commissioners are hereby required
to notify within three days after their appointment to
make and return to the Secretary for the said Commissioners
a true List of the Names and the place or places of Abode
of the Constables and Headboroughs appointed in and for
the several parishes, liberties, precincts and places within
the said District and within their said respective Divisions.
And as often as there shall be a new appointment of
Constables and Headboroughs in and for the said parishes, liberties
and places within ten days after such Appointment
to make and return to the said Secretary a true list of
the name or names and place or places of Abode of such
new appointed Constable or Headborough, or Constables and
Headboroughs. And that that if the said Marshals or any
of the said High Constables shall neglect or refuse so to
