Officers of Commissioners may make use of the Watchhouse &c
And be it further enacted, that it shall be lawful for
the said Commissioners or any of them, and for any person
or persons being an Officer or Officers of the said Commissioner
or Commissioners, at all times between sun setting and
sun rising, to enter into and continue as long as he, or
they shall think proper in, the Watch house of any of the parishes
liberties, precincts or places within the said district of the
metropolis and shall have full power and authority to
inspect the book there kept according to the directions of an
Act passed in the 14th year of his present Majestys Reign,
intituled, "An Act for the better regulation of the nightly
Watch and beadles, within the City and Liberty of Westminster
and parts adjacent, and for other purposes therein mentioned"
and therein make an entry or report of any remissness, neglect
of duty, or misbehaviour of any of the watchmen, patroles,
or beadles, and also of the Constable or Headborough of
the Night with the particulars of such remissness, neglect of
duty, or misbehaviour
