And be it further Enacted, That
if any person, or persons so required to
give Notice, and obtain a Certificate as
aforesaid, shall have in his, her, or
their possession, any Goods Chattels,
Horse, Mare, Gelding, or other thing,—
& after receiving a printed or written notice of such goods
which any Officer or Officers of the said
Chattels or other things being stolen with a description
Commissioners shall judge it necessary
thereof shall neglect immediately to make discovery
to inspect for the better discovering of any
to the sd Commissioners of so having the same in is her
Felon, or Felons or other Offenders against
or their possession he she or they shall forfeit the Sum
the Law, or proving any Felony suspected
of £5 & if she he or they upon requisition made to any
to have been Committed and shall refuse,
officer or officers of the said Commrs. to produce the same
or neglect to produce the same or shall

illtreat such Officer, Every person and
all persons so offending shall forfeit the
Sum of £50 — And the Certificate granted
to such person, or persons, and every
Certificate that may be granted within
Three Years from and after the time of
such Conviction, shall be utterly Void and
of no Effect whatsoever.
