Preamble

And whereas the business of a Justice of
Peace within the said District cannot be so properly and
effectually transacted in a private as in a public office —
Appointed for that purpose only whence Matters relating to the
good order of the Kings Peace within Division might
be heard and determined. And whereas it is thought
fit that fees should no longer be paid to the Clerks of Justice of
the peace by that the said Clerks should be recompensed for
their trouble and Attendance in some other manner.
