No Justice to act but at
a Public Office under
Penalty of £100

And be it further Enacted that after the Establishment of
such Public Offices for transacting the business of a Justice of Peace
shall be made in or near the aforesaid Places and such......
Establishment shall have been notified in the London Gazette
no Justice or Justices of the peace shall Act within the said district
in any manner whatsoever as a Magistrate or Justice of the Peace
but in one or other of the said Public Offices And if any person shall
do otherwise every one so offending shall forfeit the sum of one
Hundred Pounds for every time he shall have so offended and
the said sum of one hundred Pounds shall be recoverable in an
Action of Debt to be brought by and in the Name of his Majesty's
Principal Secretary of State for the Home department.
