The Justices for the
said Parishes in Surrey
for London, Middlesex
and Westminster to
hold a Sessions once
every Week in the
Year
And be it enacted by the Authority aforesaid, that
the Justices of Oyer and Terminer and of His Peace for
the City of London, the aforesaid Justices of Oyer and Terminer
for the said Parishes in the Borough of Southwark or County
of Surrey and the Justices of the Peace for the said Borough,
the Justices of Oyer and Terminer and of His peace for the
County of Middlesex and His Justices of the Peace for the City of
Westminster Shall and they are howby authorized and required
notwithstanding the fitting of the Court of Kings Bench
within the same County within their several and respective
Jurisdictions to hold a sessions once in every week in the
year at the following times and places that is to say; In the
City of London every Monday, the Borough of Southward
every Tuesday, the County of Middlesex every Friday and the
City of Westminster every Thursday, and the said prospective
weekly sessions shall be holden only to inquire of hear
and determine all Treasons Felonies, Misdemeanours —
breaches of the peace except Assaults and Assault and Battery
and all such Offences as may hereafter be committed against
a Statute made in the Seventeenth Year of the reign of his
late Majesty King George the second intitled "an Act to
amend and make more effectual the laws relating to Rogues —
vagabonds and other idle and disorderly persons and to houses
of correction," and all Offences that may hereafter be committed
against any such Statute or Statutes as have been or
