Quasi-Imprisonment &c.
Where the whole Emp a man stands excluded
from the whole Empire, we may call the punishment
Banishment simply or total or perfect or compleat: when only some particular province
of this Empire which had been the place of his residence
or occasional abode, we may call it Exclusion or Banishment from
such a place, or partial Banishment.
