Kind sister
I know not how (or if I doe, yet practise not) to give any
flattering titles tis satisfaction to mee, & that in abundance
to arise & call you blessed, which condition seemes to be yours,
seeing the almighty hath blest the fruit of your wombe, and
M. Row hath made you to forget sorrow, for joy that a manchilde
is borne into the world , I pray god it may be a nazarene (i e)
a person separated from this world, devoted & dedicated unto
god in ways of righteousnes & true holines, and withall to joy nd in
prayer to our faithfull creatour, that our portion may be made
fat by the same influence from heaven — I have for you a bottle
of sack, wch I pray accept as a small token & poore pittance for
your overflowing favours from him who is more willing than
able to serve you in the capacity of a brother, for so I am bold
to subscribe myselfe
yours (and that affectionately)
