It is now just 8 o'Clock, we have but this Minute put
in to our Quarters here, and can asure you with truth that I
have but just made Shift? to Seize yr Port by the hed
as it were, & given yr Man a Mug of Beer to bribe him
to stay for these few Lines to satisfy you of my
being in perfect health— how rejoyc'd shall I be
to know, my dear dear Girl is become so too,
I wait desire you to Excuse my saying no more
For you can't have a better part of my effection & Concern for you than my having writ so much
with I must haste, my Duty to my good heart
