I wrote to thee on Friday — why
hast thou not answer'd me?

Inclosed I send thee a letter I intend
to send to Miss D. I received one from
her on Friday Thursday.

There are some slips of the pen in
it. I lo These I find upon looking
it over in a place where I had no
opportunity to correct it.

Take a copy — but let me have it if
possible by return of the Post. It
has been delay'd a day already by accident:
and I should be sorry to delay it
longer if I could avoid it.

Th Dr Mulford com town some
day this week: and I shall take
the opportunity to make him teach me
Watchmaking.

Lest it should have miscarried my last letter was to
persuade you to set down keep accounts. I am now
in haste, & cannot write more particularly.

Tuesday May 7. 1776. Linc. Inn.
