According to my promise I am to inform you
I wrote to Mr King to know when you was Enterd in Woolwich
Yard, his answer was the 3 of August 1770 from which
time to the 2 of August 1777 must be seven Years —
he tells me at the same time he have been informd
that you was to serve till some time in Jany:, but for what
reason he cant learn, As you think you have a right
to that time I shall give it up as I cant suppose you
would desire any thing but what is Just — I have
drawn a Bill on Mr Jennis to pay you next pay day
if he receives so much money, if not must desire
him to pay the remainder the following Pay day
