to day, I can not but apprehend that either my last letter
or one of his in answer to it have miscarried, or what is
more that some accident has befallen him. It is in consideration
of the possibility of the letter went, that I have
taken the liberty of giving you the trouble, to beg the favour
of you to give me some information concerning him
if from any cause he should fail of giving it me himself.
