There is no more any difficulty in getting things
presented/introduced/supportd. The only difficulty lies

with handsome cloaths. Get me also 3 or 4 pairs
of thin shoes with stileteed heels of Mariner's make
The Stockings & shoes may be marked with your initials,
and the shoes must have been worn and the bottoms of the soles
a little dirtied.

Direct my letters for the future to Sr James Harris
or rather inclose them in a cover to him.
by this means I may get them free, otherwise
it is impossible. Mr Frazer only franks them
at furthest to Amsterdam. I find I have a
monstrous deal to pay for the letters I have sent
you: as I must pay the postage to Amsterdam
whether directed to Frazer or not.

In short be it parcels or packets that you send me by
sea or by land direct them all for Sr James in
some cases it will save expence and in all it
will procure care & dispatch. He told me I had
better do so.

to Maberry to desire him to come call on you
then again desire him <del> to be making all requisite
preparations for coming. to collect & put to writing
any information that he thinks may be useful
particularly all relating to new contrivances in
general, & to Ships which draw but little water
