it also in a Cover apart directed "to Mr. Pitioff St. Petersburg. The Other Copies
leave Sir James to dispose of as he pleases. When Mr Saintowski goes to England
cultivate his acquaintance, of late we have been more together than we were before.
What would I give for an Hour or two's chat with You just now. A Dinner at 2 SP
and a dish of Tea at Lincolns Inn before I set out on this Journey, would be more
relished than ever they have been yet.

unknown to you: was I less attached to your Brother, and less acquainted with your
Character, I should have been more scrupulous in complying with his desire I
have of being known to You; the friendship I observe between You, gives me
room to hope for your forgiveness.

your Nation, Anglais, Jeune, beau et modeste, c'est un phenomene! said
they. The women the more admired him, the more they wondered at
his Sang froid, and could not easily reconcile themselves to it. It was the only
