Letter to

I wish you would take a copy of all my Letters which you get a
sight of and send to my Brother, otherwise notwithstanding my
promise, He will hear but little from me. If you get a
sight of my Letters to Sir James copy them also O.S.

Yes, do I pray you write to my Brother; your writing will be at least
next to my writing myself. The very great attention wch
I meet with and the haste I wish to make to reach —
Catherineberg before the Thaw will I foresee prevent any
sitting down for an hour to write such a Letter as I cod
wish till I reach that place. There, however, as I must
stay till the Roads are passable, I think nothing can
prevent my fulfilling so essential a part of my Duty.

I have just now been dining with the (akeese) —
Arch-Bishop of this Place,and am now as full of
Blessings and of good cheer as a man need be, the
former seemed to be given in proportion as I accepted
of the latter. The rigorous fast observed at this season
was broke through on my account. I saw the old
Gentleman officiate in person at his Church before
Dinner, and inspired as he was after Dinner He
set about explaining to me the Ceremonies I had
seen - He taught me for example most perfectly how
the fingers are placed to give his Block the benediction.

of this &c
