to Barnaul. In two of them were Letters
delivered to me by Mr. Carew, whom I left
at Moscow (in August) on a tour to Cherson,
whence he intended returning thro' Poland.
I am a little surprised at not receiving a
single line from you, tho' one at least of
my Letters must certainly have reached
you, as Mr. Carew received your answer
to his enclosed Letter. Probably you will
have thought as little of the promise you
were so kind to make me, of providing
for me of Pogkodasikin's & other over
for me. Some piece of Loadstone, of which
I find you have laid in a good store, would
also have been very acceptable.

I wish you continued health & pleasure
& remain with true esteem

Sir

Your most obedient
Servant
