in my attempt to make some purchases for you of rich specimens of
Malachite & native Gold. I am become a great amateur
though not I cannot flatter myself as yet that I am much of a Conneissiur, with respect to mineral production.
But I have not been alld to come at any of these people
who have such things to dispose of Of Tourtchiof's mines
though I have been twice at Tiscetsky and met with
all attention & civilities possible, I have not been able to
procure anything worth mentioning for myself.

of setting near to working out some magnets and have got
a pretty good by that means supplied myself sufficiently to
to have some at your service. Mr Davidoff's
at N Zagbil however have orders to provide you with that &
many other minerals. I have desired them to send you in
also a sort of iron mine raised with copper and I believe
Quartzy chystals which is lately found in the Reindinsky a part of the
Wisochogastky mine which does not delay This was not noticed
in the amount they raised of the minerals you wished for
as I suppose it did nor was not found an officer there
very intelligent in the mine department will choose you out
some pieces.
