capable of rendering any Service to your Son, & of facilitating
the means of his making his acquaintance on his arrival
there, I am certain he will think himself happy to recommend
himself to you. Son's attention & regard; and from the
accounts I have read of my Son's conduct & disposition,
from all quarters, I have the satisfaction to think, you
and yours will have no reason to apprehend a single

As I have no other grounds for any pretentions to your
favour on behalf of my Son, I hope you will have the
goodness to excuse my mentioning them, at the same
time that I beg leave to assure you that any good office
you shall be pleased to render him, with respect to the
Function he is engaged in, will be esteem'd the highest
obligation by Sir
Your most obedt hble
Serv.t

I propose being in Town
in a week or ten days, & will then
do myself the honour of paying
my respects to you in person.
