You can not but be sensible, that to form
a just estimate of the value of my Brother's
contribution one must take into the account
not only merely the quantum of the time & labour to
be bestowed by him on this particular

expence (amounting to many hundreds &

all the extraordinary good fortune which
have been expended in bringing him
into the situation necessary to make him
capable of bestowing in the way in
question any part of his time and labour
