on the Marquiss myself, I cannot but feel how much
more effectual it would be to my Son's Interest, if
you would have the goodness to mention the Affair
to his Lordship, as he would thereby be much more
readily induced to concieve the reasonableness,
as well as Utility, and expediency of granting
such a Permission, than from any application
a Father could make on behalf of his Son.
