Pera of Constantinople 10 Jany 1786.

Sir

Your son Mr Jeremy set out from
this the 10th: Ulto: on his way there Walachea to Kretchoff
to spend the remainder of the winter with his Brother
I this day recd: a Letter from him dated Bucharest
the 28th: Ulto: he incloses a journal of his rout to be
sent to you, but desires it me be shewn to a freind of
his here, but as the Post sets out this evening it is
not in his power to look over it in so short time I
am therefore under the Necessity of keeping it till
next post which will set out a fortnight hence. I
thought it would be a satisfaction to hear your son
was got so far safe and would not lose this opportunity
of communicating this intelligence to you
