From Mr Henderson to Jh.B.

Pera of Constantinople
10 Janry 1786

Sir,

Your Son, Mr Jeremy, set out from This the 10th Ulto.
on his way through Walachia to Bucharest, to spend the
remainder of the Winter with his Brother. I this day received
a Letter from him dated Bucharest the 28th Ulto. He incloses
a Journal of his Route to be sent to you, but desire's it may
be shewn to a Friend of His here; but, as the Post sets out
this Evening, it is not in his power to look over it in so
short a time; I am therefore under the necessity of keeping
it till next Post which will set out a fortnight hence; I
thought it would be a Satisfaction to hear your Son was got
so far safe, and would not lose this opportunity of
communicating this Intelligence to you.

I have the honour to be, with great respect,
Sir,
Your most obedient
humble Servant
Logan Henderson

NB. I beg to observe that
the Road between This and
Bucharest is much the worst
of the Journey between This
and Kritchoff,

Bentham Esqr
Queen's Square Place
Westminster
via London.

Mm. The Original, of the
above Letter was received
at Q.S.P. on Monday the
13th February 1786.
