Leather send me as soon as you can all that is not
engaged to be sent elsewhere. Sole leather Pump leather
harness leather which a more common sort which will
serve for leathering oars, and some Shoes but as
to boots very few if any 2 or 3 pair if there be any
better than what I had with me. For good leather I can
get here 1/2 ruble a pound: but if I sell it a little
cheaper there will be profit enough two hundred
Pump or sole leather hides would furnish wherewithall
to pay Q.S.P. and whatever obstacles may still be flung
in the way of my obtaining it from the Prince.
