sometimes, expressing his wish regret that a better understanding
might
some sort of union could not be established, between
them, no matter how cemented, as a means of
turning her savage nature. Sure enough at last this
union did take place, how cemented nobody knows,
nor is it worth while to enquire. From that time
every thing she did belonging to her was angelical, an observation could
not be made about the meats being done too little or too
much but the blood would fly up into his face. No
sooner was my Brother's back turned but he brought
her into the parlour to dine: there she the happy
pair would feast upon the tid-bits: while another Englishman,
a respectable Master of a vessel who had been put
to board at the Housekeeper's table was left to dine by

As to the servitude he complained of it consisted
as in his doing those little offices about a house for which
