heed in return for wch you cannot give me greater pleasure when
you are than by letting me know that this is come late to your
hands & that you are well and comfortably circumstanced
I thank God, I have rubbed thro' the winter severe as it
has been tolerably well, & have no particular complaint
in part of health altho I am now got in to the 77th year of
my age and see many of my old acquaintances dropping
absent dayly around me, It is my great satisfaction & what
contributes so much to my health that I find myself
perfectly happy in my connections Jar & Charles are
both of them in very respectable situations in life, as
well in regard to opulence as Character & Mrs Abbot
the wife of the Farmer is a young lady of the most so amiable
a disposition that she cements us all together by
the Sweetness of her even temper, & Husband's
fondness for her, we dine at each others Houses —
alternating every Sunday & in Town, & all
the Summer time your Mother & I are at Mr
Abbott Country House at Putney Heath about in a
delightful situation abt 7 miles from London.
Your friend Pole Carew goes on increasing his
Family, having already 4 Children & your Uncle Sir
Joseph York is created a Peer by the Title of Lord

Dover, his Lordship's Country House being at Reve Hough
within less than half a mile of Carr's I in the Summer
have the pleasure of seeing him more often in Summer
and he does you the honour to make very obliging
Enquiries after you, having heard a great deal about
you from your friend Pole Carew.
