Oxford, altho he has ever experienced as affectionate
a welcome & reception as any Son ever did from a Father
and conscious as I am that I have never been
deficient in any respect that could have the
least tendency to his happiness & advantage
my comfort however is that the satisfaction he
enjoys arises so much from himself that no
accident in Life is likely to deprive him of it
while he enjoys has that share of Health & Peace of Mind soundness of Mind
which seems accounts seems to promise to be lasting
and that it may long continue be so when I am no more is a wish with which I —
