Chaplain to the Grand Duke of Russia
and Preceptor to the Sons of his Imperial Highness.
Dear Sir!
I have received your kind Letter, and forwarded
your writings to your noble and worthy son,
who is now in the Province of Sibiria, and is always
indefatigable in making some new and interesting
Discoveries to the Russian Empires! my present
Illness presents me to describe his shining
Character, which distinguishes him everywhere,
and acquires rapidly new glory to your
Name.
Pardon me, dear Sir, for my past Silence, and
be asured, that I am ready to serve you on all
occasions according my abilities, and will ever
remain with true esteem.
