the commons objections are repelled which after
the Peers have prevailed, will not this be an
invidious circumstance to say no more? Will it
be becoming decent(to say nothing of justice) to have
one measure for the high and another for the low?
Then if there is to be compulsion who is it to be
trusted to administer it — An A single individual like myself? — This
would hardly be endured — Who else in short, but
the same sort of tribunal who that has already
been chosen for the purpose? But this very tribunal
has already pronounced: it has pronounced
