Nomography
(2)
Reference made to power, the relation between of one
human being (not to speak of other animals) is susceptible of
three distinctions or say diversifications, and correspondent
states or say conditions: with reference to either of them
the other may be either equal or unequal: if unequal
either superior or inferior: and either the one or the other he can
not but be.
Essentially included in the idea of power is that of
pain: of pain considered as capable of being produced and
employed by him by in him over whom the power as
is possessed, that that is to say or say capable of being exercised.
Of two persons, the one of whom by whom he who is considered
as the one by whom power is capable of being exercised,
is, as such stiled with relation to the other the superior; he, who is considered as
the one by in over or say on whom power is capable of being
exercised, the inferior.
Law being is the denomination by which in the English
language designation is made of a portion of discourse
by which expression is given to an extensively applying and
permanently enduring will act of or state of a person or persons existing in a state in relation
to others, in relation to whom, he is or they are in a state
of superiority, and the Green nomos being the word which
corresponds to the English word law, nomography is the appellation
by which may be designated that branch of thelematology which regards
the expression given to discourse when employed for applied by the
superior applied to the purpose of giving direction to the conduct of the
correspondent inferior.
