Relation between Logic and Legislation Nomography included

Parts or say functions of Logic, two: 1. the tactic; 2. the dialectic controversial
or say disputational.
Function of By the tactic branch, the se several subject matters
of discourse are, by means of their respective signs, formed
into groups, by means of consideration had of the relations
which have placed between the imports of those several signs
and determination given to the order in which they shall
be presented to the minds of hearers or readers.
The principle or say cause which has for its effect the holding up to viewbringing into
the mind of the person or persons addressed spoken to or written for has been termed
the principle of association.
Subject matters of the association were have been — 1. sign with
sign idea; 2. sign with sign.
Services rendered by informations of the association,
two: 1. Fixation of the connection between the ideas regularly
meant desired to be returned in the mind employed with the
intending desirer of making use of the signs: 2. presenting causing the
ideas to be present in and to the minds: say 1. fixation
2. transmission.
By means of this fixation it is that to the
individual by whom employment is given to the signs to
question that information respecting the matters of fact of
which that same mind is the receptacle say internal fact, is continued and
preserved for us, also information concerning facts of which
that some mind is not the receptacle say external facts, obtained and kept
for us.
Internal facts are impressions and ideas; external
facts are states of things and motions.
