importance of appropriate aptitude on the part of language

aptitude and another nothing of more importance there
than the difference between one degree and another of the momentary pleasure or displeasure produced by the bearing of the portion
of discourse which on the occasion in question happens to
have been employed. But in the application to made
of it to the subject of law depends the life of men and
the possession of everything man depends for his life, and
for every thing by which life is rendered dear or valuable to him.
