By a man Judge understand the judge of the judicial
district within which his be has a domain

Or, when used simply, understand it as used in
a sub-disjunctive sense: importing that the word immediately
preceding and the word immediately subsequent
to it, are synonmys: when followed by the
article a or the, understand it to be used in the disjunctive
sense as in the case where it is connected
with an antecedent either; importing, that one
or other of the objects in question may be taken
but not both. When meant to be understood
in the disjunctive sense, and the noun which follows
it admitts not of an article, as where in the
irregular it would be preceded by the indefinite
article or, to distinguish this sense from the subdisjunctive, immediately after or insert else

One mode offering expression to the subdisjunctive
sense might be the employing instead
of the word or, the word alias
