Conjugates Collocation

Next to the substantive
the adjective is most easily
prehensible, more so than
the verb. Thus "made
present
to the mind" is
more prehensible than
"presented to the mind"
for by the adjective present
intimation is given of a
quality presentedness a
pretence a fictitious entity
approached to a noun substantive.

Evidence III 591
"that this discourse is
really issue from him on that
same occasion"
Better this
"that it is on that same
occasion that the discourse
did issue from him"
Reason
The occasion is the intended
subject matter of the observation:
putting before this
word the words really issue
from him
disposes the reader
to regard the reality of the
issue or the identity of the
person as the subject matter
of the observation. This is a
misconception which remains
uncorrected till the
word occasion is read and
even then a momentary
hesitation may take place.

Use of commencing a
preposition or sentence with
a preposition, or what is
equivalent a noun in an
oblique case (a case other
than the nominative) the
preposition gives notice
or say warning of that
which is to come which is
more than the nominative
case, does something which
bears relation in some
shape to the substantive
immediately following
