Penal Code
In relation to Offences, collectively and severally
considered, subject matters of consideration are those which
follow
In the case it is for the sake of conciseness,
that Offence in this Code offences, as in the Constitutional
Code Functionaries in the Administrative and the
Judiciary Department are collectively, antecedently to
their being severally, considered
In relation to Offences, in the first place collectively,
in the next place severally considered, subject
matters of consideration are the following those which follow
1. Their nature
2. Their division
3. Their modifications in respect of the quantity absolute
and comparative, in gross and after deduction of the good
of the evil respectively produced by them
4. The circumstance in which the quantity of the evil respe
produced by them respectively depends
5. The stages of the progress which the evil makes while
diffusing itself through the community, on its it flows
passing from the maleficent act.(a)

(a) On this occasion will come to be considered not only the stages of the progress
made in the community by the matter of evil on flowing passage
from a maleficent act, but also the progress in like manner
made by the matter of good from a beneficent act: perhaps also
the stages of the progress made by the matter of evil from a maleficent
event at large, and the
progress made by the
matter of god on its
passage from a beneficent
event at large.
