Chicaneria
3. Legacia

7
Lengthiness of the
enactments on this
occasion

Vying in lengthiness with the attachment and most approved
forms in the mass of grimgribber which presented employed on this occasion
by Chicaneria Legacia for the enuntiation of her
behests four the number of pages occupied by it, the
number of the Sections: namely from 66 to 78 both inclusive.
Long before he has reached the end of the 67 will mens
every any man (the law always excepted) feel the cords of his attention snapt
and instead of clear and shady vistas black dark clouds floating
here and there will be the objects present to his mind
To this mass shall it be our endeavour to apply the appropriate
clarification? If yes, down would go these sheets, and
when, if ever, would they be taken up again?

8
Legacia's design
encouragement to
mendacity

But on occasion the occupation and design of Legacia
has been and is to give existence and encouragement to
mendacity. Now for the proof. In §.72 comes a power
to the Judge for "examining both parties upon on oath, if he
"shall think fit." Good: but on what occasion? on every
occasion? No: but only on the occasion and in the event
of an application "to postpone until the next sitting
the hearing of the claim. And on this or any occasion
what should be the Judge's inducement "to think fit to knock
down the golden pile so elaborately erected by Chicaneria Legacia for the remuneration
of learned and meritorious learned servants

9
New words introduced
by Legatia
"Article or Articles"

In By the admirable Legacia we are introduced into
a new world of words. No more of Farewell statement, answer, reply
or rejoinder — no more of Farewell plaint and plea. All is in
Citation to shew cause on Plaintiffs side, statement on Defendants
side statement removed on the occasion from the Plaintiffs side to the
Defendants side, and called "an Article or Articles".
