True that if a pair
of flies be caught in
this web spiders enough
would be at work upon
them

True it is that when a pair of flies have been caught
in this web, spiders enough at work upon them
there will be, and dry enough they will be suckt. But to
those who are from whom their money is thus taken, what
consolation will it be that the blood will find other mouths
for the insorption reception of it

§. 80 of the bill
apparently taken from
JB.

Look now, Reader, to §. 80 and believe your own
eyes if you can. For the joke sake somebody you will then
have put a trick upon Mr Brougham or and his Clerk, and instead
of this Bill of his given him a proposed Bill of Mr Buchan
his Equity Dispatch Court Bill for example. "... Power to
"examine the parties upon oath, and shall adjourn the
"hearing of the matter from time to time as he shall think
"fit, and shall direct what other evidence he may require
"to be brought before him... and after hearing the
"whole matter he (a) shall make the amount by writing, which
"award shall shall be final....

With the exception
of the oath the rest
as far as it goes JB's

As to the oath as soon would Mr Bentham
have stuck in a curse as any such surplusage, irrelevant useless
and so much worse than useless matter: but rejecting
as so much surplusage these three words "upon these
oaths, the rest, as far as it goes, would look as if
the pen it comes from was Mr Benthams

But if applicable
by Arbitratrix why
not by Smalldebtia
and Legacia?

But now a the question. If this much of whats
within evidence so effectual so all-comprehensive expressed by Mr Bentham expressed by
the words if good for the field proper as applied to
of service allotted to Chicanera Arbitratrix, how could
it have been otherwise than proper if applied to the fields
respectively allotted to her three older sisters, Ordinaria,
Smalldebtia and Legacia?
