Reinquiries

3
With these two Reinquiries
and motions, for new trials
Reinquiry may be carried
on as long as
six and eightpence remain
in the pocket of either party

or if fluxions will make the matter clearer, you may put
a dot over or under year x; and this, after extraction
made from the pockets in and such extraction made of several
times the maximum (namely £100), capable of being in this way brought
into dispute, the system of reinquiries may endure
as long as a 6s.8d remains in the pocket of the least
opulent of the contesting parties: which 6s.8d being absorbed
the victory will remain in the hands to the labours of the services, the
Plaintiff or the Defendant as the case may be

4
Moreover every
order subject to review
by motion

Moreover and by this same Section (§.70) every
order (be they as many as will) made by this same Judge
without a Jury, "may be subject to review by
motion as above.

Patience, Reader! You are not so far as half way

comes now a new series
of reinquiry

This same assemblage of inquiries the number and
value of which, we have thus determined to be = x, call
it the first series.

Comes now a new a second series to be mounted upon the shoulders
of the first.

1st Power to Judge to
postpone trial as to
matter of fact

New series Reinquiry 1 — §.71. Power to Judge to
"postpone the trial of such matters of
"fact as he thinks fit" (that is to say if
"each and every such matter of fact until the next sitting."
Next sittings what? next after what? It can not be the next
day or next sitting day after that in which the order is made
for such postponement: for if that day were the only one, it
might not be long enough to hold the half the questions in
the part of the whole number of them.
