Per §79 Subject matters

In the first place comes in the introductory initiation section
§.79. After mention made of the subject matter of agreement,
to "matter of law" is added "or matter of equity." What
Equity? chance for the sale of any thing sold that gives made by that fair species means a chance
be it ever so small ready to be sold at option given of any
other shape other than that which given by the
name of Equity? An option this by in particular to what would
scarcely be to be found unless it were the option between an abode
in Newgate and an abode of the same length in purgatory.
