On Brougham's Swallowing up their two Honours

Turning from that high quarter in despair, let me turn
my lazy eyes to some one or other of the gentlemen
of the press, for whom a knife and fork laid so regularly
at his Lordships table: and who catching up the
as "drops from his the learned lips, may perhaps, when it happens this subject
to come upon the tablecloth, may have the attached
something towards the selection of some of the above perplexing
doubts. Sitting where they do, they of course have little than to give
insertion to anything that comes to from me: but as to what to which even
degree from that high quarter, so it be but covered, wrapt up covered as they know so well how to cover it wrap it up up with its due proportion
of praise and admiration, there can be no reasonable objection to their
giving utterance to it.
