Review of J. & H.B.

1 o
Beginning

(1) 4

J.B. the standard.

Next in the order of priority of consideration must be
a standard principle course, a standard work: and for
this in this character to be without hesitation and without fear of contradiction contestation
we take upon us to give Mr Bentham's words to which accordingly
we have given the first pieces or the last: assured
as we are that in what degree so are his labours and by what person soever in this vinyard
are approved of or disapproved of, his title to the
appellation of a sincere and genuine and in point of so far as regards
intention howsoever it be in regard to effect and success a
sincere and most unquestionably and ardently reformist
will not meet with a single individual in the country
to contest it.
