I shall have felt myself warranted in saying in
favour of them, will on every occasion have been
said with that alacrity, an example of which what
is visible, at the outset of what I say of this work of
Mr. Humphreys. With that gentleman I have not
to this moment had any communication. My friends

P.S. Of my own abovementioned Code, Judicial Establishment included the printing is in
considerable advance: bating accidents, the Procedure Code
will be out before the year is at an end: the draught being
in considerable advance, all the great points long ago settled:
nothing wanting but some part of the methodisation; and
some part of the comparison making with the arrangements
now in existence: special pleading, and nonsensical distinctions
between Law and Equity compleatly discarded.
