This accompanies a copy of a
work of my Nephew's on Logic which
begs your acceptance according to an announcement
contained in a former Letter.

I take this opportunity of rectifying
a misconception which I suspect has had
place in you. In your Letter to me
of the . Speaking of the article in the
Westminster Review on Mr Humphrey's Property
Code you say "after reading it I retain my
opinion that it is much better policy to
committ the administration of magisterial
duties in such a metropolis as this to
the class of persons who will be induced by
a salary of eight hundred a year to undertake
