Mr Bentham who for between 60 and 70 years has
been occupied in the attainment of what Mr Peel
calls "his great knowledge of the law", on what other
terms has he been occupied by in it? Not that he
would have occupied himself in any such useless labour
under a Mr Peel, on any terms: but enough there are of his
disciples that would upon those terms. Max
is the stuff the theorist is made of: are there
no others made of the same as he?
