J.B. on Peel to J.B. Rudiments.
! On this occasion look once more into the Petition For Codification.
If by the exigency there brought to view his can not be determined
by what in the shape of a reason can there be any well grounded
hope of its being on any occasion ever determined?
Assuredly in wantonness nor in , nor in any
inducement short that of necessity – lamentable and more and
sadly lamented necessity is that done which is done here!
An observation I have hear that has been made is that on
appropriate survey taken of the Right Honble Gentleman's pericranium
by any pupil of Dr Gall and the organ
of understanding would be found swallowed up by the organ
of will.
Peel has taken a log in the water – his no such
as the sense of candour.
Reason for J.B's roughness to Peel and Judges – that
it may be seen how defenceless the cause, by the imputation they
submitt to.
Reason for J.B.'s self-: that the silence
may be seen to proceed from defencelessness not from the
or bad report of the accuser: for this advantage to the
public J.B. content to endure the obloquy to himself.
Non attendance of Peels over rewarded Magistrates,
referred to as notorious – Examiner or Spectator of Sunday
31 May 1829.
